Banned without a Warning...

Featured Replies

So today my main account was banned for "Macroing Major."  No 2 day warning "temp ban."  My friend got a temp ban 2 weeks ago, but I get a "perma-ban"?  What the hell JaGeX?

Current Account Ban: http://gyazo.com/77a595abad51fd9c52037a76b8d76b02

Previous Account with a Warning: http://gyazo.com/d4ecca894dacbf872c2bb152020cf7c0

Literally doesn't make sense that my friend gets a temp and I get a perma... If I get my account back (Sent Jagex a thing on twitter explaining this injustice), I'm going to stop botting.  If I don't, I don't know unsure.png

And has anyone else been experiencing this?  I know someone else in real life that this happened to, too also.

Thanks for reading!

Cheers!

It says you've already had a bot-busting moderate ban on your main, so isn't it fair in terms of Jagex's way of banning you?

No that was my other account that got permanently banned last year.

U bot u get banned simple as that. Any accounts linked to your ip can also be banned even if they are not botting. And they don't hand out two days very often anymore.

Yeah he did... It's just funny though.

I guaruntee you guys werent botting the same things, the punishment depends on when you were botting and where you were botting(for example, green dragons or catherby yews will usually be macroing major[perm]) and 2 day bot busting is the days they go out in big mobs banning all the bots giving them all the unnapealable bot busting moderate 2 day ban. And theres also a 14 day ban(macroing minor) they used to give out back when osrs just started, and that was if you were doing something less harmful(such as alching). And last but not least, the goldfarming ban; and thats when you have more than one account on one ip and they find them all and see they're on the same ip. Usually is one gets banned for goldfarming, the rest of the accounts on the ip do too.

What was you botting?

Woodcutting at the time, but a lot of things, just not one thing.  I think they were watching me for a while.  I found myself in W385 a lot.

Same shit happened to me a month ago..

11 year old main banned permanent, never had a ban on it..

I'm probably going to make a new account and not bot anymore.

You linked the same image twice in the OP, would be nice to see the insta-perma one.
So any past bans on that IP?

Seems pretty crazy they'd insta-perm just for WC, especially on a main.

Thanks for telling me! haha

It's rare to get 2 days bans atm and if you do so, you're a lucky son of a bitch.
Btw, stop bitching about it. if you bot then you should also and always expect to get a ban.
