I just started botting again last night for the first time since the EOC so i'm not up to date with all their new methods and how often you get banned and shit, but i see a bunch of people on the forums are able to bot pretty safely i'd say, So i just started yesterday on OS RS and i was training strength at chickens for like 2-3 hours total and i woke up this morning and i was banned, what did i do wrong? I only botted for like 3 hours total maybe, I remember i use to bot like almost 24/7 back like a year ago. So does anyone have  any tips? and what are these VPS/VPN things i'm reading about

The banrates in '07 are quite high and extremely different from pre-eoc.

I see alot of people posting they are getting banned within hours and although I've never experienced this myself I'm pretty sure your IP is flagged (which would be weird since you havent botted in a long time.

Theres a guide on how to avoid bans somewhere, I'll try to find it.

VPS/Proxies either run your bots for you or change the IP the bot is connected to in order to avoid chain bans or because your IP is flagged/known for botting.

I'm not saying you cannot get banned, but I've been botting lately for 6+hrs and breaking randomly and nothing yet so far.

My friend just did the same thing as OP was banned the next morning.

 

Did you run your bot 24/7 or take breaks?

my ip is so flagged accounts I apply a bond to are banned when i log into 07 My ISP won't let me change my ip. Also any accs associated with my ip are banned so I have to make all accounts and do all botting on a vps.
