April 24, 201411 yr This is what I am getting and I need help locating where to find this file, I tried library and everything but I can't find it.
April 24, 201411 yr 'usr' is a hidden folder apparently, https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1509209?tstart=0 . Try to unhide it first. Open the Terminal in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run:sudo mkdir /usr/local/lib Edit: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=99576 Method 1: From the Terminal, type "open -a Finder /usr/local/bin".Method 2: From Finder's "Go" menu, select "Go to folder...". That'll bring up a window in which you can type "/usr/local/bin". So in Terminal, type "open -a Finder /usr/lib/" or "open -a Finder /usr/lib/whatthethingsays" Or do that other thingy. Or install an app which makes hidden folders unhidden, but that could be kind of dangerous. "To create the folder (if it doesn't exist already) and open a Finder window: In the terminal...sudo mkdir -p /usr/local/bincd /usr/local/binopen ." Try to fill your stuff in there. I tried everything you just mentioned, nothing worked . I still can't find the file.
April 24, 201411 yr The image shows that the file has been detected and blocked by your A/V service - they are only advising you delete the file in order to prevent you from accidentally clicking it in the future I imagine, ergo you don't really have to worry about removing it unless it A pops up multiple times - meaning it is autorunning in which case you would then need to look for the file :P
