The English created the term Soccer so go shove it somewhere dark.

Either goes, football or soccer.

 

Alright buddy no need to get heated. Northern english used to use 'Soccer' for around 18-20 years then Football started being used. Literally no one in england says soccer past the early 20th century. Only Americans. It's irrelevant english created it or not

 

Calling the game soccer does not make any less real.

It's just purist bullshit. I call it soccer and love the game just as much as the next fan.

    Who mentioned anything about being 'less' real lol? Let's just universally and logically(Foot & Ball) call it Football, that's all. If you want to call it Soccer, go ahead.

    Football also means that American's football which is made for guys that can't handle their feet :D
