What slot index? Inventory, shop, bank? More details please. :)

public int getItemId(int slot) {
       return client.getInventory().getItems()[slot].getId();
}

I think it's client.getInventory().getItems()[index].getId(); index is 0-27

or you can use for loops to scan all of the inventory
