March 3, 201411 yr Okay dudes so heres the situation: I were botting yews at edgeville as far as i know, i were in that world alone so i guess it shouldnt be a bot world... There was pretty much nothing uncommon and i babysitted most of the time it ran(like 5 hours). I went to the bank loaded my yews and logged off. And couple hours later when i tried to log back in (unfortunately with the client and not in their real website) i got there for like a second and was then thrown off and got the "account disabled" thingy when i tried to log back in. Now couple things: -Im botting with my "main" and have no other bot accounts -I started playing a week ago again after six years, because i kind of missed those old days -Ive done quests and multiple different skills, my combat level is 55 -I cant tell for sure if those yews were the reason for my ban, since ive been using quite many different scripts -I dont know much about these type of things -If i get perm banned ill probably stop playing for the rest of my life Now to the questions: Should i try to change my IP address?(Tips are welcome) Can i see somewhere whether my IP is flagged? How likely will i get banned next time im botting? i will probably try to find some gods forsaken place and only bot combat since then i can at least enjoy all the minigames. How should i continue from now on? Should i do legit for some time and for how long? Is there something i should check/know? All kinds of tips are very much welcome and i hope your answers will be helpful to other noobs out there Ps. pardon my english ;)
March 4, 201411 yr I got banned today too, and it is a 2 day ban as well. I was botting at Rock Crabs on my main. I think we should both stick to doing legitimate rs playing now lol. Now I can focus on getting my fighter torso, rune defender and fire cape haha.
March 4, 201411 yr Hard to tell if you have been Ip/flagged unless you run another bot and it is quickly banned. I always reccomend using a proxy when botting gold farming. 1 to prevent your personal ip from getting flagged. 2 so you can run multiple accounts as a gold farm. I would make another account ( or 2, use the refer a friend so you get 2 memberships). And try and bot if you wanna see if your IP flagged. if not then..... Make a new account play without bots and try to level it all around decent stats so you can enjoy the game for a bit, when you feel tired of playing the game and are thinking about quitting, take a break and run some bots.....Let us know how it goes Hope I helped answer some questions cheers mate there you go http://osbot.org/forum/topic/40808-the-importance-of-using-proxies-while-botting-botting-guide/
March 4, 201411 yr if you're going to bot, don't fuck with the legits and you will be safe hence the two day ban
March 4, 201411 yr Change your IP, but I'd advise to not continue botting for at least 2 weeks. Up to you though! ^_^
March 4, 201411 yr Right i was botting warriors in al kharid and got perm banned this morning too. i was up at 7am was running fine. showered and stuff came back to disabled macro major -.-' unfortunate -.-'

How should i continue from now on? Should i do legit for some time and for how long? Is there something i should check/know? - I don't know if it's necessary, but you can do it. - You can't see if your IP is flagged, but I think every IP will be flagged once an account has been banned on that IP. - How likely.. No one knows, Jagex is very inconsistent. I'm botting for almost a month now, I've gotten 10M wc xp and I'm training all stats up to level 50 with different scripts. I already have a ban which I didn't get on this IP, so next ban will be perm, but I don't care.. - Continue? Well, if you can enjoy the game without botting, quit botting and have fun. RuneScape is a great game. If you can't, just continue with botting, BUT take breaks very often (30-60 minutes), don't get insane XP rates and don't bot at crowded/goldfarm places. It's more like common sense you know.. And don't bot overnight, only if you dare ;). - You can play legit for a while, just a couple of days. I don't think that it really matters though. - Everyone can get banned, it's the risk you take. Some people get banned after botting the first time just a couple of hours. Others will never get caught. Try to act humanlike with hours, take breaks, use good scripts with anti-ban, train different skills, bot for max 5-10 hours. Good luck mate, hope this helped you a little .
March 4, 201411 yr Author Okay thanks for the replies To dynasty: Isnt that proxy kind of useless since i only have one account? Wouldnt changing IP do the same trick? Also does anyone now how that flagging works? Do they see instantly if i log in on client or do the moderators still need to see me in game? I guess if i just change that ip ill probably dont have to worry about that... Is it theoretically safe to bot combat in like wizards tower or some place else that has literally no one?

If you're ip is flagged then you will most likely receive a ban in an hour or less of botting. You most probably do not have your ip flagged as it was not a goldfarming just a 2 day ban, but if you have a dynamic ip you might as well reset your router to change your ip, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. botting at the wizards tower would be safer than botting at a spot like rock crabs or chaos druids. But keep in mind wizards tower is empty because it is very bad xp, and you might get asked by some random kid why you are training on wizards.
March 4, 201411 yr Shit mannn yea ive been hit hard with this ban hammer stuff, yesterday i was botting a throwaway account at chaos druids,, sadly i had been botting it all weekend, got 60 attk 71 str and 45 def, my girl leaves i come home and try to log in and it was insta permaban - sucks i had like 5m of herbs on there lolol last night i ran my main at grand tree bank fletching yews, ( i have 70k yews ) and i had it set to no account so once it logged it wouldnt try to log in continuously and got the disabled message - i started almost being scared lol.. i hav over 200m and its 84 str 90mage 88 range 1 def with a total of 1583 luckily my main only got 2 day so im never botting on him again, i havent checked my rank 70 woodcutter tho, bet hes 2day banned also. So be careful for a bit guys, jagex seems to actually be doing something again WOW freaking hilarious, my ranked 70 woodcutter didnt get banned tho, funny as fuck Edited March 4, 201411 yr by Dankblunts
March 4, 201411 yr If you don't wanna get perm banned then don't bot again atleast on that account + in same IP.

Yeah i quess ill find a way to change that ip just in case. And yeah that wizard tower was just an example but nevertheless i just want to get like combat lvl 80 so i can actually enjoy Barbarian Assault, Pest Control etc... If anyone has a clue of a totally empty place where i could mind my own business and kill some low level monsters it would be nice
