Haha, JaGex thinks they're smart.

They don't know Osbot potential.

Do you?

In my opinion this is for pattern detection and that has more to do with scripts itself then the client.

So I think I have the solution. Create a LOUD warning signal when the world is a bot world to the user. Something we can pick up on quick, and then we play normally for a long time till we think they have seen us be legitimate. Then we are good in the system, marked a legit. No?

Could you re-word that with the same explanation

When we get transported to the bot world then the client making a type of warning signal to us. So we can immediately cancel our bot and play legitimately. Then after we've played for a while, they'll have most likely marked us as not a bot, but a legit player. At that point then it's smooth sailing, they have us booked as a legitimate player till further notice.

Sounds easy to evade... client can have an active log of what world the player is in (even the scripter himself could do this), once it detects the world has changed (without wanting to be) just hop worlds.. how's it gonna detect a bot from a human with this? A human would do the same thing. Are they going to FORCE legit players not to grind money/resources? Doubtful. This sounds last-ditch and unplanned.

Bot worlds don't seem any more threatening than the obstacles imposed by random events and curious players. For "LaGex"" it is just a way to filter out some statistics for pondering, and it adds more resources for them to take care of and pay for. For us it is another clear indication of when we need to adjust our bot usage routines. There is a lot that be changed, but the resource efficient opposition is through a constant change of the small stuff, and a misleading exaggeration of those changes via community updates. Quite an interesting path that is being made here though. I at least presume that massive gold operations will be slowed, which in my opinion is a good thing. If you tend to bot in only a single log-in session, then I don't see how this could possibly be an effective detection method. (Edit: Upon further enlightenment on the matter: My previous opinion contradicts the actuality of bot worlds, which is that single log-in sessions could lead to being detected. I am silly!)

Zartect's idea of using an audio warning is logical. As a side note: integration of scripts and Smartphone apps has been on my mind lately. I consider their potential as a remote control for your bot, and utilizing a phone/tablet for progress reports is of sound logic to me.

lol ya i noticed these bot worlds

@zartecht

i feel they detect it from the start. jokes on us

honestly this sounds like a bunch of bullshit. ModMatk said that there is no way to tell if you are in a botting world or not, so basicly you have no proof this update is in effect. Just a bunch of crap they are feeding the legit players to make them feel better and to scare the botters

should i stop boting today ?do you guys think there will be uptate today?because i dont wanna get banned again:S

nahhh you're fine :P

I think that in the future, replying to people who say something in the chat should be added.

Say somebody says:

"Hey"

You would reply

"Sup?"

And then you'd have a legit-like convo

I love the people who are acting tough against Jagex. Expect a ton of threads about people complaining OSBot getting them banned.
