I don't really get the whole point or what a vpn is useful for?

 

 

Like does it run bots for me without using my internet or able me to run more bots.

 

 

Or is it just purely to hide my ip so I can run heaps of bots for hours and limit my risk of getting banned..

VPS is a virtual computer to which you can run bots while your pc isn't on.

 

A proxy is used to mask your ip address as it, supposedly, helps to reduce chain bans

Yeah so if I can Get a vpn, I will not use my internet data and basically is it like them running bots for me and I don't need to run them off my computer the vpn runs for me? unsure if I understand it and also is it hard to set up?

you will only use your internet data when viewing the vps.

the vpn does run for you, your computer, therefore, can be off

depending on the vps you use it can be hard yes. but there a lot of guides out there if you search around, and know what you're searching for.

depends on the bots you wanna run, i'd say 2 per gb of ram

and a gb of ram can cost anywhere between 10-20 dollars.

 

I don't recommend VPS' most are the same really, unless there is way for ip to be flagged on a new vps

 

I could supply you with one I own, but I'd only take rsgp sadly.

Not sure what you mean 

by 'suits my needs of botting'

 

the problem with buying off someone else is that they're usually reselling, and so they have no 'real' control over the VPS (like if you were to purchase one off of me) I can guide you through tips etc, but the real way to get support e.g. if it goes offline would be through the real vps provider.

 

 

Finding one yourself can be a hassle, but can be worth the wait (and sometimes not worth the wait)

so jagex cant flag your ip and ban all accounts that has logged on it.

You don't need to shut your computer to make the bot run.
