i see that the lucky xbox 1 owners will be getting this new hardware for hdmi input but im curious if the ps4 will ever be able to do something like this through a usb port? like hdmi to usb or something. May be a stupid question but i had to ask since that is what i am getting

Yes, if Sony adds support for it in the OS. Probably they are not gonna do that.

dam that would be sick though. i was just wondering because ill be joining the playstation group next month but im just trying to figure out other pros and cons for switching like giving up hdmi input, but getting internal battery controllers and cheaper network fees if theres anything else you may know please let me know
