What do you guys think?

If they are actually rolling some software in, what do you think might be used to detect bots? Maybe they're changing something within the client to tell if the original client is modified or injected? Why is their website maintenance scheduled the same day as the bot killer update? I don't know I'm with many questions right now and it don't feel right.

Oh what theirs a bot killer update tomorrow too?I thought it was just the maintenance one....I don't think its going to be anything new they've been catching many people for the past week..Like they said they would be testing it out..Once it rolls in i think alot more people will get banned. Thanks for telling me that there is also a bot killer update tomorrow LOL i might need to look into this so i don't bot tomorrow.

As of right now, there's no way in knowing what they have in store for the future of botting. We will just have to wait and see tomorrow what they have planned. :P

Personally, I'd suggest refraining from botting for a little bit. You don't want any extra attention to your account while this is going on. Bot at your own discretion.

Good luck! Don't let them catch you. ^_^

I don't think the update will make OSBot incompatible OSBot will probably work still the only way it woulden't is if they rewrote entire runescape 2007 which they probably did not as they are mentioning a anti bot software.

I think it's more of a pattern detection like RS3 has as this update has been developed I believe by the RS3 anti bot team which means it is very plausible they simply took the RS3 anti bot software and converted it to 07.

What this means for botting or OSBot is not clear we will have to wait for the update to happen but it's defenitly not good news and I don't think they're bluffing either.

I don't think it will be anything catastrophic. With a player base of 20k, I don't see why they would wipe half of that away. We saw it when they did the first bot nuke and their player count was dented(for main rs).

We'll just have to see though. I doubt it will be anything that will make the client incompatible because they know we'll eventually have it working again. Most likely pattern detections, which can be bypassed by simply stressing a lot on making the bot have human like behaviors.

It will eventually get better but its going to take time to adjust

its kinda sad to see these new software i think it actually works

Wait what new software I've been gone for a while gotta catch back up!

no real proof of this new software. a couple of jmods said a bot nuke was coming and alot of people have been reporting bans recently also they are different kinds of bans then previously.
