Is there any chance that Jagex would delete your account for botting, I have only gotten banned once, and I made a previous thread about being hacked. But I looked my account up, and there is absolutely no records of my account ever being on Runescape. Just wondering if there is such thing. Thanks.

No. If your account(s) get banned, they remove you from the high score completely to make it a little bit more fair for the legit players to take your spot. Just a few weeks back, the top ranked agility player was banned for botting. His account got stuck in Lumbridge, and apparently people started to notice that he was just sitting there for hours.

 

EDIT: I believe the same goes for when your membership expires? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure about that one.. I've had accounts banned, and they still stay on my friends list. Maybe he accidentally deleted you.

Yes, my account was recently deleted.

 

I noticed that it said "invalid username or password" and at that moment I realised that I got banned. This is because im very confident that my pc is virus free, and on top of that my account disappeared from hiscores right after. I also changed my password and tried logging in and it still said incorrect password.

I've never heard of accounts being deleted. I got my main banned back in August, and it got insta deleted off highscores.

OMG, that is exactly what happened to me. I tried changing my password, it said that my password has been changed, but it still wont log in. Does it not tell me I was banned because it's 07. Don't know, hopefully I was just banned and not deleted.

Bastards started to delete accounts

I'm confused because maybe because it is 07 the "Your account has been disabled" message does not show up. But then again, I tried logging into the Runescape website, and It said I had a invalid password. Any Suggestions?

For all of you saying no because it hasn't happened to you specifically please "do some research" before replying in this guy's thread and making fun of him. It doesn't happen as often, but it does happen.

 

I have also had thousands of accounts banned, and maybe only 5-10 of them just straight up deleted.
