Client randomly closes?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I've noticed over the past couple of days that when running OSBot (1.7.79) for some reason it randomly closes the whole client down? Sometimes the scripts can be running for 5+hrs then it closes and just now it was running for about 30 minutes and it closes. I normally have it minimized in the background so I cannot tell you if anything appears on the log. But I can tell you its not because of random events.

If you need me to explain anything else I can try my best.

Cheers,

Tyler.

This seems to be a bug alot of users are experiencing if it's not becouse of your CPU/ram specs then you can't fix it yourself.

Could you please post your CPU/ram specs and how many clients you run?

Today I went and bot on my pc, just to see it.

(My pc was on for 2 straight days, that may be an issue as well but) my specs are

i5 3750k

8gb RAM

Dont think my pc is too bad for this shit ;( cause on previous clients i could run 2 clients and play bf4..

i have an i5 computer with 8 gb of ram and im running only 1 mining account. the client random closes as well.

Auto-closes on me 2 lel, happened 2 times already, first time ran for 1h or a bit more=auto closed, 2nd time= 10-20mins and auto closed on me, no it's not my pc lol. I've botted before just fine.

I delete all jagex cache out, and anything related to jagex files, went to main website, loaded up osrs, logged in, obtained new jagex cache files, logged back in client, and this started happening.

It's possible that due to the memory leak along with the specs of your computer, that OSBot cannot stay open for a long period time.

This is a common issue among users, and we expect it to be fixed within the new update to OSBot 2.0. As of right now I suggest only running 1 bot at a time until this is fixed. ^_^
