Can't log into client

Featured Replies

soo I've never used osbot on this computer (it's a mac). Whenever I open the client it connects to the remote server, I click the "signed out" button, the login screen pops up.. I type in my info. But when I hit "Login" literally nothing happens. It just still says "awaiting user input" as if I never hit login at all. I've tried restarting computer, I've tried restarting client, I have the latest java, I have JDK & JRE.. :(

I have to use this mac until my laptop gets fixed so plox help me out (laptop died lol).

Have you tried capitalizing the first letter of your username?

Go into your OSBot folder, data, then delete the Local.dat.

This should fix your issue.

Didn't work. Tried closing the client, deleting it, and restarting client multiple times but still having the same issue :(.

Thanks for the response though.

Can you link me to where you installed your Java software?

If I can remember correctly, some mac operating systems aren't compatible with the ones Window owners use. Apple developers have specifically released Java software for macs. This may or may not be the issue, just trying to brainstorm some solutions. ^_^

Probably has something to do with you using a mac simplest solution would be installing windows hehe.

I would suggest you take the advice Solstice gave you that's what I was guessing incompatible java.

If you're running on an OS x Snow Leopard 10.6.8, then you should install the following:

If you're running on the newer OS x versions (2013), then you should install the following:

http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572

If you're running on a 10.4 OS x version, then you should install the following:

Install the right one and re start the client.

Wait, it appears the JDK and JRE versions i've downloaded arent compatible with mac 10.6.8

But I can't find any installers of jdk/jre that will work on 10.6.8, they all say "This download requires mac version 10.7.0 or higher" etc.

Anyone have links to ones compatible with 10.6.8? ;p

See now, Im having the same problem for over a week now. And maybe once in a blue moon ill be signed in, but my scripts wont run. they should really do something bout it. and im running windows have done everything he has and still doesnt work.
