there just talking about EOC right and how to make eoc better? it wont effect osrs at all. thats what it sounds like to me that the legacy mode will be for just eoc players.

not against this but i think every1 that would do that already has been doing osrs.  i dont want summ or dung or combat that high tbh.  btw its not combining the games its just making eoc players able to use the old combat system on their servers.

As a player since day 2 public release beta of RuneScape.
It has to be a ploy to kill off OSRS and leave it for dead just as they've done with runescape classic since 2005.
Then all the OSRS players we know and are will be forced to play legacy eoc with THEIR botwatch and all the system implemented further breaking injection bots such as OSBOT from working on those servers...
No-one will play OSRS as we know it now, they will go back to their updated version of RuneScape and maybe just maybe play with the graphics from 2007 with all the gear they previously had (completionist, maxed etccccc)

EOC will never be removed. OSRS will thrive and not die as everyone is predicting.

I'm prety sure legacy mode only effects EOC. Does not effect osrs at all. EOC legacy will play with EOC or just with EOC legacy. They aren't going to mix EOC legacy with osrs servers.

Personally i dont care what they do to that pitiful excuse of runescape. Im already 99 in every stat i enjoyed and only have 3 or 4 skills i hate left. Osrs is the only way to go.

Plot twist: Play both.

 

I loved playing Pre-EOC with my old main, and bringing that back will regain my love for rs, hell I didn't even mind playing it at the beginning of EOC, just small abilities actually made it a little bit more fun for me,

 

OSRS is just nostalgia, personally I'll switch between the two as and when I please, I genuinely don't see the problem with this update.. lul.

Jagex have updated their BotWatch team and their software. They also have a timetable of when a team of Jmods will travel to certain to locations to manually ban bots.

I just got perm-banned a few hours ago for using this script and they are advancing in the fight against bots. This might be a bluff by Jagex but I just got banned so take my word or carry on and bot, its at your peril...
