Featured Replies

When I try to run the bot on my old PC (prefer to use that one, as I dislike having my new computer runnign 24/7, the old one still works good though) I get this error (running through CMD):

PC:

Windows XP SP3

Internet is working lol..

Firewall disabled

JDK version 1.7.0_21

C:\Documents and Settings\Kramer\Bureaublad>java -jar "osbot 1.6.11.jar"

EDIT: I also tried removing the OSBot folder from the Documents and Settings folder, still nothing..

What port does OSBot use to connect? Because maybe it is already using that port

Edited by aekramer

It is not running on the same port, That would give you a JVM_BIND error when trying to run another service through it, seems as though it just times out.. No idea why.

It was just an idea, no clue what else could be causing it.. Feeling clueless as it's also not my router blocking it, it works on my laptop and my other PC (both Windows 7 though..)

I had a similar issue on an older version of osbot, i eventually had to delete my osbot folder and redownload the lastest version. Let the program create the new osbot folder on its own.

Keep the scripts you want by putting them on ur desktop.

Already did this.. Removing folder, restarting PC and redownloading bot.. last hope..

EDIT: Nope,.. still the same thing

Bump..

Redownload Java? I can't think of a fix besides just re-installing stuff. shit sucks man

Tried everything, not working.. Oh well, I am planning on using this PC only as a botting station (running suicide bots on it), so I am reinstalling windows to remove all junk :)

Will report after that, if it still doesn't work, idk..

I've been testing multiple configurations and still can't replicate the issue. The bot uses standard Java API to connect to the server, so there really shouldn't be an issue with it connecting to the server unless there is something else blocking it.

  • 5 weeks later...

I have the same exact problem, running windows 8, I have java JDK 1.7.0_25 which is the latest version, I have deleted and reinstalled Java as well as OSBot, including all files related to OSBot and I still can't connect. I also have my firewall disabled and I had no problems running the bot the last time I was home, which was July 2nd. My connection times out after like two seconds every time.
