When does your ip become flagged?

Featured Replies

So, i was wondering, what does it take to get ones ip flagged as a botter?

I recently recived my first ban, and i decided, that i would no longer bot myself, but i would rather be devloping scripts. But the thing i want to know is if it is safe on my ip to test them?

I have no idea when does jagex start to monitor activity from an ip. Some of you care to share your experience?

I have had 1 perm ban <-- Really sucked was on a lovely skiller.1 2 day ban <-- Was very lucky with thus one. 1 Rollback <-- Not too bad, from 99 mining back to 94 mining. My ip so far (touch wood) has not been flagged, so you too may have gotten lucky.

Most of the time, your IP will be flagged when committing a serious offense such as Gold Farming, I have been temporarily banned for botting, however, 2 days after the ban, I started botting up to 8hours for the next month, and been botting for the past month yet nothing has happened so far.
