Conflicting script name

Featured Replies

Can someone please explain why this error happens.

I am developing some private scripts and whenever I have more than one at a time in my scripts folder i get this error and only one of the scripts shows.

Both scripts have different names in explorer as well as in the script manifest.

[WARN ][01/17/14 09:11:40 PM]: Conflicting script name : DBD Falador Iron v.01

You saved 2 or more scripts with the same name.

In this case: DBD Falador Iron v.01

Change the name and you should be good.

Like I stated above, both scripts have different names on the manifest as well as the jar files have different names.

Unless there is another area I can change the name, then that is not the solution

Export both of them again make sure you change the Path to the appropriate ***.jar

Happens to me too sometimes when I forget to change the path and end up saving both to the samename.jar

Turned out having kept my main class named "Main" in both scripts caused this error. Main was also in the default package.

I fixed it by making a new package and putting my files in that instead of the default package.

Thanks for your help anyways
