I am leaning towards Hosting24 and Hawkhost. They each have their advantage, just not sure which to get. Any other recommendations?

I would advise Hostgator. :)

Just get a $5 VPS from DigitalOcean and install the LAMP stack.

Full access, easy to manage, secure and their servers are wicked.

hosting24, have been hosting a site there for 6 months. maybe it costs more then other hosts but u get real quality, also a good helping service.

had no downtimes ever, would surely recommand it.
