What PC specs do I need?

Featured Replies

I'm going to buy a new computer because mine is from 2006 and pretty crappy atm, and I was planning on botting like 8-10 accounts.

What kind of specs does my pc need?

And what am I looking for when buying a computer?

Thank you to anyone who can help.

i5

8gb ram

easy.

Thanks for the response. I'll get an i5 and probably some more ram since it's a family pc.smile.png

Get i5 4-gen (Haswell) processor. From model 4440 to 4670K. Every model will fit for your needs (If you're low on budget, get the model 4440, it's very good too)

8GB RAM. MHz doesn't really matter, don't get above 2k MHz, not worth the money. (Get like Kingston Hyper X Blue 8 GB (2x4GB Modules) 1600MHz. It's like 60-70$ on amazon)

The Motherboard.. You should get ASRock B85M motherboard. It has the CROSSFIRE (Dual RADEON graphic cards available) if you're into gaming much. Ofcourse you don't necessarily don't need the two graphic cards, one will do. Plus it isn't very expensive.

Hard Drive. You should get Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB SATA 7200RPM 64MB. It should have enough space for everything.

The Disk ROM. I don't think people use it anymore, but if you need it - get the cheapest one. Like SAMSUNG DVDRW 24X SATA BLACK SH-224DB/BEBE.

PSU. Would get FORTRON ATX 2.3 650W 90+ FSP650-80EGN 90+ model. it should have enough power if you use CROSSFIRE with two graphic cards.

Graphic Card. First get one GIGABYTE GV-R787OC-2GD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5, because it should be enough for you. If not, just buy another one, or a better one and use CROSSFIRE. (But i don't recommend using it)

Good luck! I hope i helped you. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for the reply! I'm not really a pc-gamer. The graphic card of this computer broke down 2 years ago (had it since 2006) and I'm now using a graphic card from a very old pc that is probably around 10 years old. biggrin.png Is there a site where I can put together all these parts and how much would this cost me?

^ Would this be a good computer for me? Note that I don't really game besides RS and my parents will make use of the pc when I'm botting on it.

a i5 has 4 cores, that will run you about 4-6 bots, try getting a i-7 since that has multi-threading and will allow you to bot more accounts.

It'll be good. It has integrated graphics, so you don't need to think about the graphic card. Ofcourse these pc's are a little bit overpriced. I always suggest to buy your own parts and build it, or ask someone else to build it. A little cheaper if you need those extra $

Kijk op hardware.info.

Kan je de goedkoopste prijzen van alles zien, benchmarks, reviews en alles.

You need to spend lots of money bro

Not really, it's not a must to get an i-series processor nor DDR3 ram.
