SOTM Rules [READ BEFORE POSTING]

Rule 1) Do not include any kind of name , string, string builder, etc that will give away which script is yours

            Your script must contain NO hints as to who has made it, your name, IRL name, etc. This includes, but is not limited to, Strings, Comments, and Authors. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification.

     Rule 2) Do not ask for people to vote for you

           Do not ask or bribe people into voting for you. If someone asks or bribes you, please report it to me and they will be disqualified.

     Rule 3) You may vote for yourself, but it's not required.

           We are allowing you to vote for yourself, but you don't have to. If you see someone's you like more, you are more than welcome to vote for theirs. 

     Rule 4) If you say or hint at which one is yours, you will be disqualified for that week and the next week.

           We want all submissions to be private so voting isn't biased in any way. We know you will probably tell your friends on Skype, but we'd be really happy if you just kept it a secret. If you are caught doing so, you will be disqualified for the month.

     Rule 5) If asked to provide proof that you made the script, provide it.

           If I am suspicious of you sending in work that is not yours, I will question you and you must provide proof that the script is genuine and yours. You can use snippets from the forums, but you must provide credit if you do in the form of a comment saying "//Snippet by ". If you fail to supply necessary proof, you will be unable to participate in any future SOTM events. So remember: always save and cite your work!

     Rule 6) Flaming and/or Plagiarizing will result in a disqualification

            Similar to the last rule; if you take any work from others without their permissions and without citation you will receive a permanent suspension from SOTM events. If you are flaming someone's work, the punishment is not participating in SOTM for 2 Months and/or an infraction. You may give constructive criticism, but it must be given in a polite way.
