Im able to log in to skype but after that its "Skype home unavailable" and blue icon just keeps spinning

have you ever set a proxy on your skype?

i dont think i have, skype had crashed and when i tried to log back in it just keeps loading forever

oh okay, well if you had put a proxy on i would know the problem and could easily fix, but since that isn't the case i can't help you, sorry 

on the connection tab should it be checked? or have a port on it? mine is checked 

Skype > Tools > Options > Advanced

1. Uninstall Skype.

Reboot.  Don't skip this step!

Install Skype via the MSI installer (download, run, hit Next a few times).

Hope it works.
