If I train strength so that I can get defense up would that ruin being a pure?

I think at 99 range/def you can get 75 attack/strength without gaining a combat.

I would stay 70/70 or lower until 94+ range or if it won't gain you any combat levels.

I'm currently 33 Defense 29 Ranged.

#I just made it a couple days ago.

don't go any higher than 70 attk n str ( 75 MAX)

if you get 99 def and 99 range att and str must not get over 148 combined, if you get over that you will get cb lvls :)
