Lowering CPU usage?

Featured Replies

Dear OSBot Community!

Does anyone know methods how to lowerize CPU usage?

For example, is there an ability to redraw every N frames? So, draw only 1 time in a second, but run 10 FPS?

Or, maybe, some internal client graphics settings?

Or some hooks those can disable some CPU-loading part of Runescape client without altering the functionality?

P.S. Of course, Low CPU is set:) Also, running separate bots, one tab per, is the better scenario as I see.

Thanks,

dark_xor.

Delete programs you don't use, download CCleaner as well that's a good programme

i think opening multiple cleitns instead of miltuple tabs helps.. but i'm not sure on that.

Realist, I run bots on clean PC after windows 7 x64 install.

xNeyaa, I already run 1 tab per bot.

Some client tweaking needed.

He's talking about OSBot in particular, not his computer.

@OP

Open OSBot, click the gear icon at the top right, go to the 'Advanced' tab, and check the box at the top left which says 'Low CPU' and that's all you can do to lower CPU.

It lowers the FPS (and maybe other things) to lower CPU usage, and yes also as stated above run about 2-3 tabs max per each OSBot instance.

YoHoJo, I wrote in first post that Lower CPU is set.

Need to some suggestions from people knowing the client settings preferences etc.
