just downloaded this script and decided to try it in Al kharid smelting steel bars, as soon as i try to start the script it says it cant find the bank or its not close enough even when i start right next to the bank booth and everything, maybe i am just not doing it right, idk but it seems like the script is broken

 

I hate to tell you this but it seems in an update by Jaxex today, they decided to change many in game id numbers on various items including in this scripts case, banks. So really there are currently a lot of scripts that are down until the new ids are entered

2.7 is out and kicking!

 

EDIT : 2.7.01 is released, it has some bugfixes on 2.7 regarding the ROF (Will now withdraw 1, equip, open bank back up and withdraw the remaining peice of iron ore). Alongside that it will detect if your ROF is depleted during smelting, and will return to the bank.

 

On another note, as some of you know I am making a complete overhaul on this script, for 3.0. (Or "Ultimate CronSmelter).

Due to my exams I can't really finish this up in an efficient way, and altough 2.7.01 will work for you, it will contain bugs that are not going to kill the script, but are annoying to say the least (in a programmer perspective that is).

 

Expect 3.0, which will be a completely new script from scratch, with exactly the same functions, and a couple of new ones I won't tell you for the sake of curiousity within 2 weeks. The version that is currently is being updated for your use will remain updated untill 3.0 is done.

PLEASE understand that updates are made when I can afford to cut in my study times. Anyway, for the following updates I made sure CronSmelter will be runnable for atleast 1-2 updates on the current 2.7.01 version. (The script will try alternatives  when something in the OsBot API is broken)

3.0 has a focus on efficienty and reliability, for me to update the script more easily, and to get the most of the script in general.

 

For people wondering: Yes, 3.0 will be commited to the SDN. And no, it will not become a paid script at all! It will remain free for as long as OsBot exists. Why? This script was my very first big project script, which I found very entertaining and educative at the same time, and it would be selfish to charge you money for it.

after around 140 bars. (1 ring of forging) when my ring melts. and he gets a new one from the bank and equiping it. after that it freezes.

when the script failed to equip a rof i paused the script and manually equipped it. the script crashed and spammed allot of error codes. i stopped the script and tried to restart, this error code came up

 

Can't update, study. Sorry.

Script is broken now.
