    Anyway, this event is a good thing. Jagex is creating a gold sink and giving money to a good cause. Don't see any reason to hate/flame Jagex over this

    Are you for real? Obviously for a set amount of GP donated to jagex ( gp taken away from the game ), they donate a set amount of money to charity.
