What is going to happen to the 'rare items' such as party hats, masks etc.

But will they ever become rare?

I don't think they will ever become rare again. They will enter the game every halloween, easter, and christmas and be easily obtainable. It took me 10 mins to get all the h'ween masks on 4 different accounts. I assume it will be the same for phats when Christmas rolls around.

 

They are practically giving them away.
