October 30, 201312 yr Whenever i bot skills or anything that alot of people can be involved in like for example fishing in the fishing guild, WCing at draynor, range guilde etc. I like to turn public chat private chat trade and clan chat off and i go to either world 301, 302, or 330 because i feel i can blend in better. My theory behind turning all the chats off is that it will take away jagex's ability to judge if im a bot, it may be crazy but hey how can you prove im a bot if im not responding to ur pms or trades or clan messages when there off right? let me know if its even worth keeping all the chats off and if its a good idea to try and "blend" or if they will just pick me right out of the crowd anyway.

No turning everything off actually makes you look more like a bot. Your avoiding people messaging you knowing you won't reply cause of bot. also public is off so your avoiding any chat whatsoever, also not a good idea, i would leave them on.

But you do agree world 301, or 302 with 16 people at fishing guild is better than world 366 with 2 people at fishing guild

If using highly populated worlds, becareful for bot busters, if some1 notices you are botting, and shouts it out in the chat box, you are likely to get repoted by tons of people resulting in a perm ban, vs being next to 1 person who reports you, and nothing will happen. As for J mods yes there chat works no matter what, but it does not matter cause they don't have a conversation with you. They simply say, hey you talk to me, if you don't reply and you are not muted, your banned for botting, and you can't say i didn't see the message cause even with chat off you can see j mods talking

October 30, 201312 yr Even with everything set on ''off'' You will still be able to see when a Jagex mod talk's to you
October 30, 201312 yr J mods don't ban you via chat. They can see patterns, see how much exp gained since you logged in and other shit. I got a bot busting ban because a J-mod lured my guy from place I was cooking to the desert using fires and once I had cooked all raws, bot tried to look for a bank and totally fucked up.
