Osbot community, have you guys heard about a dupe going on for the past week on 2007 oldschool servers ?

no lol if your talking about all the rares circulating its because when you do the halloween even you get 2 pumpkins 2 masks sets full skele a sythe and jack o lantern

Heard from a friend in game certain items in game are being duped, and to add to that some people are complaining on official osrs forums that the duping needs to be stopped before GF 07.. >_<

Not talking about the event there's an actual dupe going on..

please link where they are complaining before this thread gets messed up. If you do not have any proof then lock it because the thread spam is going to happen

The engine command for "drop items on the floor but don't make them appear for a few mins" has a bug.

If you tell it to drop 1 item, it drops 1 item.
If you tell it to drop 2 items, it drops 2 items AND 1 item.
If you tell it to drop 5 items, it drops 5 AND 4 AND 3 AND 2 AND 1.
Etc.

We use that command all the time to make ammo appear on the floor when you use a ranged attack. However, since you drop ammo one item at a time, the bug wasn't encountered until today.

Hopefully the sysadmins and ISP will get the network problem sorted out ASAP so that we can take this temporary hack out of the game again.

EDIT: Meanwhile, Mod Reach is extremely fond of tracking bug abusers and banning them.
