Bot farming for beginners

Featured Replies

I want to run like 5 bots on a desktop. What is the cheapest computer I can do this on

i run around 5 bots on my desktop easy and it was around a $600 build

Cheapest computer for a bot farm of 5 would be anything with a dual core processor and 4 gigs of ram.
Amazon Link - 259$ USD

Not true unfortunately. I would go with a quad core CPU and maybe 4 if not 6 or 8 gigs of ram. My rig is dual core 4 GB RAM and runs 4 pretty roughly on low CPU

is 5 bots about the maximum one client can run?

People around the forums have been suggesting to run 2 tabs max per client. It has been said that running more than two tabs in a client will result in problems.

To each his own. I've had the chance to try out a computer with an AMD A6 processor and 4 gigs of ram and it handled 6-7 fine without running anything else.

Running 5 bots on the lowest required specs on a computer isn't safe, I recommend doing 1-3 under the maximum amount.

I plan to buy a gaming PC soon and use that for botting also, My budget will be around 800-900$ How many bots do you think I could run on that. 8 Gig Ram
