What Is Going On!?!

Featured Replies

The fps drop is due to not enough memory being allocated to the client I think ( or the client doesn't request enough memory, I dunno). Anyways, this problem only occurs on Windows operating system from what I've seen. On linux I can run as many tabs as I want without the massive fps drop, but on windows I gotta limit it to around 1 or 2 per client.

You're actual cpu usage shouldn't be much different either way though. Having more clients open will increase you're ram usage as opposed to more tabs though.

yeah well he shouldnt have any problems there seeing as he has 16gb of ram, also intel>AMD.  Even for botting people look at the number of physical cores and the clock speeds but that doesnt really show you how a cpu will handle multiple programs running simultaneously.  The AMD's dont have alot of cache and the way the architecture is structured it doesnt work as well as intels do.  And the cpu u have is 8 physical cores, intel's i5 and i7 have 4 physical cores each with an additional virtual core.  ofc if you really want the best machine to bot with then get yourself a server with dual xeon processors 128gb ram and set up a fk load of vm's.  would be able to run hundreds of bots at once

I think it has something to do with how the processor and ram works together, and assigns their resources. It gets allocated differently apparently, strangely enough this happens on Windows but not on Linux from what I know. Not sure why..

Memory leak issue is to do with the core used to write osbot, once it is updated to osbot2 using JavaFX, should expect to be able to run multiple tabs with less lag, as the client should be much more efficient :)

but until then, looks like multiple windows, single tabs ;)

ps. nice setup you got going on!

The 2 clients you had running in the screenshot of your task manager, how many tabs did you have open? because I never have my ram usage go any higher than like 1gb per client.
