ok guys after a lot of experimentation I figured it out. So download the official Jagex client and login with your details > Download Runelite and OSbot jar file > move the osbot jar file into the resources folder in Runelite applications > run the osbot jar file and patch runelite > the config.json file in he runelite application folder should be replaced now> run Jagex launcher and launch runelite, this will load the osbot application in the place of runelite. Let me know if it works

I tried this but then when I go to start runelite in my Jagex client OSX tells my runelite is damaged and should be put in the trash can?.

Could you possibly share the photos of the application folder with the osbot file. I tried doing this and it was saying Runelite is damaged. Thank you in advance.

Sadly, this didnt work for me, i did everything as instructed , but got this mesage: "Failed to patch the launcher /Users/My_name/Applications/Runelite.app/Contents/Resources/config.json (no such file or directory)" I tried everything in the guide and got that message

@4NN0NYM0US ok I figured it out, can I suggest that you follow the above process and then do this >

1./Users/My_name/Applications/Runelite.app/Contents/Resources/config.json

remove everything before /Applications

so it would look like this /Applications/Runelite.app/Contents/Resources/config.json

Same here. Tried patching bolt-launcher's runelite jar on Linux and Runelite's own jar (Cannot log into jagex accounts anymore with standalone runelite, but the injection does not work anyway).

I want to refactor my code to use OSBot but cannot get started if there's no way to hook it.

I can’t open runelite anymore just opens osbot?

C:\Users\&USERNAME&\AppData\Local\RuneLite there will be two config.json files one says config.json and one says config_original.json. These tell Jagex launcher which script to run and it will run the config.json file. when you patch for OSBOT to open it creates a new config.json file and renames the runlite config.json file to config_original.json. All you need to do is rename config.json (with the script that opens osbot) to something like config_osbot.json. and then rename config_original.json (the script to start runelite) back to config.json. then when you press play on the jagex launcher it will open runelite not osbot, and inorder to open osbot again just do the opposite. Rename config.json (runelite script) to config_original.json, and then renmae config_osbot.json to config.json and this will open up osbot when you press play on the jagex launcher.
