I think this is perhaps just a visual thing, not really sure. If you change either of the "Reaction Time" or "FPS Limit" sliders on the gears tab icon, and then click onto another tab and back again, it resets the sliders.

I tested with FPS Limit and it seems the actual value persists and still limits FPS, so it's just a UI thing I think, but it's still kinda annoying not being able to see what value you are using. 😛
