Adding scripts

Featured Replies

Can someone please help me. I am obviously new :p, so I need some help.

I copy and paste the script to a notepad in the script folder, then name it the name that it needs to be, but when I go to load a bot there is no scripts to found?

I copy the WHOLE script, could that be my reason?

please help.
Thank you.

first of all welcome to osbot secondly what script are you trying to add?

Make sure if you're saving it in the note pad that you're saving it as .groovy in the script area for the scripts.

And the ones that you download, you just save the file to your desktop and open your script folder and just place it in there and it should work!

unless hes trying to add a script that needs to be java otherwise what he said

Thanks everyone. I did as you guys said, but still no effect. Is it because I moved the folder from my start(Bottom left corner, very end...I know, I seem like a noob explaining that, but Idk the right name for it.) menu, and moved the folder to my desktop?

First of all, what type of script is it? If it is a groovy script, make sure the file extension is .groovy. If this is the case, and it still does not load, there is an error in the script.

Secondly, if it is a java script, it needs to be compiled into a .class

Edit: You cannot move your script destination, that will cause errors.

the script was PPfighter. Then I downloaded a maple chopper, and drug the download to the script folder.

I didn't move the script folder, i moved the whole folder(Named: OSBot.)

The maple chopper is a .rar
