You made a mistake buying that. E3-E5 aren't good for botting as they do not have built in graphics compared to any i7 series. Unless they are doing a full desktop dedicated server it will not perform the way it's meant to. I suggest asking for a different server with equal value.

Well, atleast test it before you do anything. If they haven't set it up I would try and talk to them to sort it out. Also you overpaid way too much for that. I got the v3 of that cpu with 8 gb of ram dedicated server for just 80 bucks. That's how I got my experience tongue.png

where was you when i made this thread yesterday http://osbot.org/forum/topic/14457-spending-180-need-vps-advice/#entry167570 :(

if your ip gets flagged all your accounts will b banned :L

That's what 10 ip's are for, try to read the original post. if his ip is flagged, he loses 2-3 accounts, TOPS. That's nothing.

Ya theoretically you "Could" make 30-50m a day with 20 bots.

Ive had 20 bots for ages

it never works out tht well

Bots fuck up, bans (you say youll have another acc up in minutes, but dont forget thats -2m ea ban+stuff on acc)

The most profitable gold farms (as in, profit in regards to money invested) are with 3-6 bots. I don't think you realize how much of a pain it is to transfer items from 20+ accounts every 5 hours onto one account, and to constantly be resetting bots, etc. VERY few scripts are flawless and about 50% of your bots will just freeze/logout/get stuck with 2 hours of botting. Especially with the randoms problem. Also keep in mind that if your account is logged trading with flagged farming accounts 3x per day for a month in a row it can get your account banned for real world trading. It's not a common ban, but it does happen, which is why professional goldfarmers always gather their gold RIGHT before a transaction (if you've ever bought gold from a goldfarm site, you know it can take em a long time to gather it).

tl;dr: You'll probably make your money back, but managing a bot farm isn't "automated money making," large farms are a job in and of themselves.

i know its not automated money making :P. i don't leave my computer 90% of my time. i check on my bots once every 5-20 minutes. ive been botting 10 accounts off my own computer atm and transfering items hasn't been too bad of an issue 90% of the time the only thing that annoys me is selling the item. and as far as randoms go i haven't had many issues at all. maybe ive just been lucky
