I have been asked by a few members to make PseudoManKiller into a premium script to prevent herb prices from dropping too much. I want to know what you guys thought of this.

 

Please vote in the poll. I will not entirely base this on the poll since leechers may vote, so please post on the thread giving me your reason on why you chose what you did. If you voted yes, please tell me how much it should cost monthly.

Make it premium, it's already packed in every world.

 

as for price maybe 5$-10$ ?

If anything is crashing the market it should be limited in order to maintain proper balance.

Also there's not much benefit of the script in the first place IF it's overcrowded in every single world and abused.

Putting up a paywall would be a good idea in order to keep the script/idea/market alive.

Make it $2-3 dollars tops (per month), the script isn't worth it solely for goldfarming. It's more of an "easy training script" with gp being an added bonus.

 

Preferably though, charge like $6.99 or something for lifetime. I NEVER pay month per script, neither will a lot of other people. Plus, it's not exactly an advanced script to write.

I don't plan on selling it for a lot. I never made the script premium because I didn't feel it was premium worthy, but people are telling me to so that herb prices won't plummet, which is why I asked people how much I should make it.

I haven't personally used it, but their logic there is solid. I would sell it for the good of the script, not necessarily for the money. Even charging $.99-$1.99 will stop leechers. It will also make the script more useful for training (what it should be used for) since worlds won't be packed. I support this 100%, even if you make it super cheap. I mean c'mon, .99 cents is practically free anyway.

2$ a month i don't use the script but this is a great script!

yeah anywhere between 2-3 per month. or a 1 time payment of $8 << id suggest that but its up to you.

hate to sound like a leacher but the reason this script should be free is it could be easily recreated.  don't get me wrong i think there are plenty of scripts that should be earning, however it is my belief that a quality scripter could create a script to accomplish the same tasks with in a matter of hours.  There are others on other sites and have been other scripts here all free  that kill men and loot herbs. 

 

 

I am however grateful for the script as a viable way to train my obby mauler and fund it. i will upload a proggy later

That's what I was thinking, but this is not my request to make it premium.

I would say around $2-5, but only for looting herbs. If people want to kill the men for exp, then I would make it free imo

id pay $2-3 just to have a day without people packing up all worlds @ edgevile.

 

so even if the script does get made for free again. at least i got that money back almost instantly from the extra gold im earning haha its pretty bad atm. with the amount of people at edgeville and besides if this go's premium he could maybe expand it to varrock east camelot. maybe even do a pirate slayero n karmja using house teleport method.

 

theres many different men spots in runescape. lol

Just because it's easily recreated DOES NOT mean it shouldn't be premium. "Easily created" is also pretty relative, considering 95% of the members on the forum haven't even attempted java, meaning it would be impossible for them. Also, just because it can be created in a matter of hours doesn't mean someone is going to spend hours coding a simple script when they can buy one for $5, you know what I mean? Those "hours" of time aren't to be taken lightly, because time IS money. If someone REALLY needs a man killer, and it's "so easy" but they aren't willing to pay the equivalent of 5 McChickens for one, then they can spend hours of their time writing their own.
