August 30, 201312 yr Some information has been passed my way that Jagex will start botwatch banning for injection clients starting this week. How accurate do you guys think this is? Do they have a way of tracking things like this? If so, why haven't we all already been banned before now? Should we be worried for a few weeks? Stop botting altogether on our mains for a few weeks? Any way to fight against it? Just want some opinions on the matter. Edited August 30, 201312 yr by pinto
August 30, 201312 yr If they do all Orion Client users will be banned, unless they can see that they're running Orion.
August 30, 201312 yr Jagex has said this about 50 times before. It's just a game of cat and mouse, and fear tactics to scare botters. They've been saying they can detect clients since 2007. If there was a way to detect clients, it would have been done YEARS ago! It's just not that simple. Plus, I'd argue a large percentage (if not most) of all 07 users are botters. They aren't going to GG their entire oldschool runescape sector. All injection clients aren't illegal anyway. Orion is apparently injection, and it was written by Jagex staffmember JacMob.
August 30, 201312 yr Author No, they've confirmed Orion legal - http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1584248-orion-client-confirmed-legal/ So they would be targetting Advertising other bots isn't allowed. and us most likely. The question, is can they tell injection clients apart somehow?
