I think it doesn't affect botting. Before this update you could predict who would hit first or pick up an item from the ground first by the numbers in IP adress, this is why people started to use it achieve benefits from it for exemple in the dual arena by increasing their chances to win by hitting first. Now it has been changed so it is all random, so you cannot predict who will hit first etc.

Instead of PID being based on IP they just randomized it, so now your IP does NOT affect your PID.

Wait so I did not know there was a predictable way of winning a duel arena match can you explain a little further how the number in a IP address affects that? And by hit first you mean and actual hit like doing damage hit? Does this do anything to pking at all? I thought all hits were random.

Correct ^^ and no they were based on PID = Player Identification Number which is based on your IP. It could help in PVP to because you may be the 1st to hit

the KO blow then your opponent. Affects more in duel arena though.
