I've always wondered whats the difference between a super moderator and a global moderator?

Super moderator has access to part of the ACP (Admin control panel) While Global moderators only have access to the MCP (Moderator control panel) 

 

The ACP has more features and they can give refunds, add scripts to people's accounts, IP ban, change people's post count, and some more features.
