Does this set a precedent for people to sell to potential scammers with the hope they get banned so the person can recover? Thoughts?

Possibly, but then again it's a risk if they don't get banned

But he said potential lol, if it was a scammer then it's different, he could be legit.

When the account is sold, it is now their property, whether they are banned or not, they shouldn't run the risk of it being recovered. Fuck him for scamming, but still, its his property.
