Trouble with the download on mac

Every time I try to download it, it shows that it is a .jar file but the icon is a .zip icon. Every time I try to run it, it just tries to unzip it. I have the latest version of Java and I was just wondering if anyone else has ran into this or knows how to fix it

right click and press open dont just double click it
