I'm not an American so I wouldn't know how it works in America. But from what I can see, Trump can't just keep banning shit or doing shit people don't like. We'll see what happens in the future.

Trump can actually ban w.e form of travel he wants it just cant be faith based. It can be region based though. Alot of countries have ban lists.
