I prefer Newegg myself, but wherever you can get the best deal would be better. Prior to that dangling wires should not have been issue as I made sure of that, but the screw might've been it. Although I think it was overheating. Not enough voltage to the cpu? Id suggest not changing the voltage if not needed to. If you do, do not changr it more than 0.01volt at a time. Overvolting is the main cause of killing computers.
