Why Is The Bot Made To Support .groovy?

Featured Replies

so, why is it? every other bot I have ever worked with has never had their scripts run a .groovy extension. They have all be made to run compiled java scripts usually extending a script class or something of the sort. Why is this one different?

Groovy syntax was similar to java and had built in compiling, it was easier for the developers to do testing whilist using Groovy, i don't believe that groovy even works anymore, afterall, java has been implemented.

It was just for testing purposes, if it's still supported, anybody who continues to write in it.

Shouldn't.

^---^----IMO--
