There is nothing in the client for me to open. No kind of .jar or anything that I am able to run. Even searching into the files there is nothing. My Java is up-to-date.

Sounds like the .jar file is opening with a file archiving software like WinRar

You can run this tool to set your .jar file associations to open with Java.
