i really don't see why people moan if they get banned for botting ur always botting at a RISK no matter what so never think ur gonna be getting away with it.

 

i no you're not moaning but just saying why are they focusing on removing more bots

but there not making a game for bots lol they make it for players who enjoy the game *ok not so many people play anymore* 

 

but they do have rs3 with 40k+ players 

 

if they just shut a few worlds down then it will fix the worlds population.. but who wants that i bot safe now with no one ever around to call me a bot

 

 

on the honest note i would waste my life playing this game if not 1 bot was ever invented but i was saying to my self why let others take advantage and get easy levels for doing nothing....

Killing botters and gold farmers would only help the game, it`s like playing any shooter against bots, gets boring fast.

Sense of achievement would be greater without bots. After they get rid of botters, they just have to go hard with advertising their game

I have noticed an influx of bans as well. My main just got perma banned. Not sure why they're handing out perma bans so easily, as on rs before OSRS was released I managed to bot over 200mil xp and 10 99's and I was not banned once. I feel as though they just started cracking down in OSRS(not sure if they're cracking down on rs3). Perhaps they are cracking down on OSRS because they aren't making as much money with OSRS and want people to convert to rs3, and they are weeding out all the bots so the number of legit players on OSRS is so slim that they will shut down the servers, saving them a lot of money potentially? Just an idea. Not sure if this is what they're actually doing.

Every game company are doing mass bans before and while releasing major updates like rs2 to rs3 or in WOW`s case, every expansion.

It`s not that it`s hard for them to find botters it`s about when they feel it`s right to do mass bans, when they are most profitable

if they wanted to make money from banning bots don't do it so hardcore..... alot of people are quitting the farming/botting scene purely because of how hard they are going at it :P
