Forum Ban Appeals Your Profile: qarielq Banned by: I have no idea, probably by Maldesto Why were you banned: Apparently I was suppposedly to have created multiple accounts on Osbot and I was "found out" by the moderators and my account "qarielq" got banned. Explanation: I set my bot up after the update on runescape this morning and went for a part time job interview. When I came home I found my osbot client closed. I dismissed it as I thought it was not a huge problem as it happened multiple times before (memory leak). However, when i tried to open up the osbot client again, I found that there was an error and I could not log in my osbot account ("qarielq"). I then went to the forums and realised there was an error message and i could not access any part of the forums. I then came to the conclusion that I was banned for whatever reason. In order to find out why I was banned, I made a new account on osbot via a proxy which is the account which im using atm. ("qarielq1"). I quickly pmed Maldesto and he told me I was "creating multiple accounts" and I was found out as they realised the accounts had the same IP address accesssing it. I told him that it was impossible and there was no reason for me to do that. He then pmed me the account name which had the same IP address as me. I did not even recognise the name and I know I certainly did not create that account. It was created recently and somehow it had the same IP address as me. This led me to being IP banned on my account "qarielq". I already sent Maldesto my IP address and I am willing to provide any other information to prove that I have been wrongfully banned for "creating multiple accounts on osbot". I have no reason to do that and I feel that I have been treated unfairly. I was not even confronted about this problem and the moderators just gave me a straight IP ban. I am sure that this is not how osbot treats its customers/clients. Just because an account created recently is on the same IP address does not mean that I am the one creating multiple accounts. As I mentioned above, I pmed Maldesto about this problem, however he has yet to give me a satisfactory reply and just tells me that "weird this guy has the same IP" and not replying to any more of my messages. TL;DNR : I was wrongly banned for creating multiple accounts on osbot, some guy probably had the same IP address as me OR stole my IP address. I am no expert on this and I do not know how this happened. I hope the moderators will look into this. Thankyou. Edited by qarielq1, Today, 07:28 AM.
