  1. Change the camera pitch in their "anti-ban"? This honestly drives me nuts, what legit player actually plays this game without there pitch being all the way up? It makes for being able to see the most NPC, rocks, items, people, etc.. It blows my mind how many times scripts bug out due to the not being able to find some sort of entity, because the pitch is too low.. Change the camera angle all you want, sometimes I did that legit (usually not), but the pitch.. just leave it maxed.. /end rant
  2. Indeed the textbook is wrong, or you wrote out the wrong equation.. As it is impossible to get: 4x^2-8x+3 from 4x+3 In order to get a negative middle term, the 2nd portion of the other factor would have to be negative, which would in turn make 3 in the original equation negative..

Uhh.. what level of math are you in? As he displayed (at minimum) lower level calculus understanding and implentation, and his answer is correct. So I don't understand how you can suggest his answer is wrong, when it's quite right given the equation provided to us.

  8. Question/potential bug: When fishing Sharks at catherby, it would appear as though the script does not look to find shark spots to the east once the one(s) to the west disapear. The script ran perfect for nearly 4 hours (banking and fishing) and now its stopped as there isn't a spot near it. Edit: There isn't a major delay in the wait time (maybe a minute or two) and it does sort of act like an anti-ban instead of immediately moving to the next spot right away. So fixing/addressing the issue is up to you. Just thought I'd bring it up.

    Before everyone starts panicking, there's an issue with Teleporting out of east dragons. Should be fixed and pushed tomorrow. Edit: House tele is glitched as well :p Will pm issues on Skype for you Stark
  10. You might want to increase the pitch when/before searching for new fishing spots. Sometimes it bugs out looking because it can't quite see the new location

  13. qbots since you got all the basics down of running the natures? does i tuse general store to sell pure essence back to store? or what method? But what I was asking is if you could have a running option, then a username to put in, that it would run natures back and forth from shop to that player in exchange for X ammount of natures lowest. I already plan on this. It will be free, because making something so simple would be ridiculous to make paid. Also, it sells to shop then buys back. It's not the simplicity that should deter you from making it VIP/Paid, more so the possibility of over saturation by leechers.

    Personally, I'm a fan of any sort of Gold sinkhole that jagex can introduce to the game, so long as it makes viable sense for players to use.

    The looting issue is partly my fault. I requested that Stark add in high value herbs quickly before he sent in the final update yesterday. He obliged, however; there is evidently an issue in one of his failsafes. The script stops looting and fighting once a herb is on the ground (from your own kills or other players) once the herb(s) disapear the bot resumes like normal. I have left a message for Stark on skype and he should look into and repair this as soon as he has a momment. The previous error was most likely client-side, as 1.7.31 has been known to have errors. I would suggest running .28 or .27 if you have either still.

    If the client was able to detect skulls, it would be easier just to walk back up and suicide on another bot. Being KO'd by guards would take ages. Also, the death while "killing dragons" was most likely caused by a random event. Where the client attempts to finish the chat dialogue in between melee hits from the dragons (once the random is started the client won't eat food). I have spoken to Stark about this, and he said if we make a list of the random events that we encounter at GDKs he might manually add anti-randoms for them which forces the character to move x amount of squares east or west until the dialogue is complete before going back to killing dragons.

  21. I was wondering if its possible for the developers to adjust the random events to not attempt to reply to random events while in combat. Using Starks GDK, I've encountered and seen many people die to randoms because their bot is trying to reply to the random while being injured and eventually killed by dragons (client does not even once random is engaged) instead of killing the dragon and then proceeding to answer to random. Just a thought..

    1 - 2 day temp at GDK They went through and banned a whole bunch of bots there though.
  24. Still having issues detecting when the character is already underattack from another NPC.
