Hi all, I've read through a bunch of genie event threads from the last year or so and it seems like they all get laughed at and shrugged off, because people seem to think that dismissing the genie wont trigger bans I'm not arguing against the point that randoms aren't being used to detect botting but can we at least recognize that if jagex chose to, they could flag anyone dismissing a genie for closer monitoring. On top of this, its literally a left click for an xp lamp, and 2 clicks to dismiss, for a normal player its easier to do the random than to dismiss it. I noticed in other threads there were ex staff trying to justify why they didn't need to do all of the work involved in re introducing random support because they don't increase the risk of a ban, however if we had the option to claim genie lamp that would be good enough. cheers fam stay safe
