Yup, common approach. People sometimes will "give" you their shitty accounts for free in hope that you will consider it to actually be yours. So then you move your sh*t on it and boom they recover and take your stuff. I did this with some random before and I actually did quit for like 5 months or so, after that I decided I wanted to play again so I was a prick and recovered my account back. Only to find a nice 500m and my total lvl went from 1400ish to 2.1k. Later on I got a message from one of his alts, he was all upset about it and I felt pretty bad. So i deleted the recoveries and gave it back that same day. And I had recently searched up that old account after like 1.5 years later and it's currently in the top 5k on highscores with max cape and over 1.5b exp As much I want to take it back.... I just could never do it considering the amount of time this individual invested in it. On topic again.... be careful when taking "free" accounts.
