My local gym replaced all of the power cages/squat racks with smith machines. I was just starting to really get into strong lits(OHP, Sumo DL, HBS)... I tried making it work with smith machines but since the 'bar' can only move upon 1 axis, it takes significantly less muscles to stabilize the load when moving.

 

FUCK.
